Intentionally shorted pins (listed in bold)
  1. VI RTN - Pins 32, 37, 48
  2. VI 1 - Pins 31 and 47

To retrofit the -5V and +5V
  1. Locate unattached wires closest to pin 50. There should be 10 connected and tie-wrapped together.
  2. Cut the tie wrap and separate the black and white wires from the rest.
  3. Route the black and white wires over to the SPDT side of the fixture.
  4. Attach the black wire to the +5V (pin 7) of the switch connector (not header) by using the special amps tool.
  5. Attach the white wire in the same manner to pin 2 of the connector. This will attach it to -5V.

To retrofit to older tester configurations (Gen I and II)
  1. If the tester has an I_Drive capability (older tester) and the fixture is of new vintage then the I_Drive pin is grounded by the fixture. Clip Pin#32 on header#1 on the fixture bottom board.
