Roos Instruments uses your personal information for building your Roos Instruments account, and facilitating the request for quote (RFQ) and RI Kit ordering process using the catalog and is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation ( GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Use of Your Information

When you register with our site, we ask for your name, company name, phone number(s), e-mail address. Your initial password is sent to your email address, confirming your identity. We will use email or phone information to contact you when necessary. If you purchase a product or service from Roos Instruments, the information you give (such as your credit card number, purchase information, billing and shipping adddress information) is provided to the banking merchant. Details regarding the purchase are supplied to the international distributor or vendor partner when applicable. This is necessary to complete the transaction. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties, except to the extent necessary to provide you with a requested service, under circumstances required by law, or, in rare cases, to our business partners as outlined in this policy. We will never use your information for direct marketing purposes. You will not be contacted directly by any third party as a result of your relationship with Roos Instruments. User Account Application

If your company has assigned a Company Account Administrator, when registering as a Full User, the Company Account Administrator for your company will receive a notice of your pending authorization that will include your name, email address and phone number. This is so the Company Account Administrator can contact you to inquire about your request.

Security Precautions

Our site has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We use the industry standard SSL/TLS (secure socket layer) encryption and actively monitor and update systems used by the website. Our standard website's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (above) generally apply. Other information is collected and stored in the course of doing business (receive contact information, trade shows, etc...) and are used to conduct business. Examples of business practices include but are not limited to generating, storing and sending Quotes, Orders, Service Reports, Contact lists, letters, invoices, checks, deposits.

Roos Instruments does not sell or share your personal information for any purpose other than described below.

Uses of your personal data: For contacting in the course of normal business. We do not aggregate or analyze this information or share it with others.

Rights of Individuals

We will accept requests for "right to know" or "right to be erased" by sending a message to [email protected] with the the requested identification information. "Privacy by Design" is implemented with our CRM environment and "Privacy by Default" means we will not share this information with partners unless required by law. Data is securely deleted when it is no longer needed (i.e. hard drives are destroyed instead of recycled.) and data retention policies are design to minimize exposure to breaches by providing access as needed. Employees can access information for performing normal business like responding to email and fulfilling requests for quotes, performing service, or other reasons.

Protection of Personal Information

Roos Instruments takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Roos Instruments online services such as the Website and internal customer relations management tools protect your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When your personal data is stored by Roos Instruments, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures. Personal data is stored in encrypted form including when we utilize third-party storage.
