Purpose: To describe the RIK0054B 3GHz Divider with SPDT switch and its use.



The RIK0054B is a dual function module. It incorporates a 3GHz frequency divider ( 64/128/256 ) and an independent DC - 5Ghz SPDT non-reflective switch.
      Top View:


Fixture requirements:
1. Smart Carrier (RIK0014A) or Passive Carrier (RIK0013A). If passive Carrier (RIK0013A) then four unused Cbits.
2. Press in connector strips (16 pin) installed at desirable module locations (M1-M16).
3. Bench Top DC Voltage Requirements: +5V / -5V /

Module requirements:
1. For control using the standard Cbits Resistors R7 and R9 need to be removed.

Basically the less power available the larger the delta power or larger the freq offset needed.
The best low power performance occurs at the high end of the frequency band.
