Error Codes, Warnings, and Hangs - Their Possible Causes

This document is meant primarily to log warnings and error codes that are sometimes encountered by the customer and their possible causes. Some compile hang ups may are also logged here.

Warnings and Errors:

Float Overflow

Instrument is Missing

"Invalid key/system ID is missing" (Guru)

Port Not Set to Receive

Port Not Set to Recieve S-param

Check port set up for proper measurement etiquette.

Example: When trying to measure S21 between RF3 and RF7.

No Warning Hangs:

Compile Hang with GPIB Generic Instrument

Test Plan compile hangs when GPIB generic instrument is active.

Check to make sure the instrument has its own unique
address.
