The RI8603 Generic PA TIM is used to control and supply up to 24v 150W power to any suitable Power Amp device(s) that is installed by the user. This includes a control module with up to eight relays and a power supply module with 4 headers available to the user. A heat sink is provided to dissipate heat generated by the PAs. This hardware must include a custom driver that creates a button used to enable from one to eight combinations of states with the control module. The AUX Power module is always on after the TIM is powered on. This document describes the standard equipment provided, another document should accompany this to describe how the control logic is handled by the custom, customer provided, portion of this TIM.

Control Module
The control module (RI Part Number Y0008EA) has two headers, each with 2 opto-isolated relays that provide 0V when open and 30V when closed. Combined there are 8 pairs suitable for controlling up to 8 devices. For example, plug one relay into pins 5/6 and the other into pins 7/8. The pair of relays will alternate between 0V and 30V when switched. Control harnesses are each wired with +15V solid red wire and -15V solid white wire. When closed, there is 30V across the pins. Pin1 is on the headers is indicated by the square.
Module Pin Out:

Each pair of control pins starting is driven by a opto-isolated relay that is used by the software definition to either be Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC).
AUX Power Module
The AUX power supply module (RI P/N Y0007YDC) provides 4 separate switched power supplies rated up to 24V 150W to drive Power Amplifiers. Power harnesses are each wired with two RTN as black wire, two V+ as red wire. Pin1 is on the headers is indicated by the square.
