40.5 GHz Extension for 20 GHz systems
The RI8563A 5-40.5 GHz Test Instrument Module (TIM) is a single slot module that extends 20 GHz general tester coverage to 40.5 GHz on Cassini test systems. Each TIM provides one source/receive port and one receive only port. The 20-40.5 GHz TIM requires two 20 GHz sources (RF and LO) be configured in the same test system. Full access to 20 GHz resources is maintained via pass through paths provided in the TIM. Calibration is available at the TIM and Fixture level.
New with rev D, the RF amp is moved from before the switch to after, so the amp only drives the doubler. Changed the cal factors and process so linearity is now absolute. This results in better source accuracy.
