Expiration Reason: Added LNC
Aditional replacements may be found by searching for RI8572A (change the REV letter) or Time Domain Measurement (HP Waveform).
The RI8572A Test Instrument Module (TIM) provides a full suite of time domain source and measurement capability.
Suitable for baseband testing. It comprises three independent instrument sets, each with dual channel capability:
- Dual Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer, RI74211A
- Dual Digitizer (oscilloscope), RI74105B
- Dual Synthesized Sine Wave Source, RI74203C
Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer, RI74211A
Provides 2 synchronized arbitrary waveform output ports, WF2 and WF3, with waveforms up to 640 MHz clock rate.
For Sine waves, the generator's DDS is used for signals as low as 1 Hz. For waveforms, 2 modes are available: dynamic
mode can change waveforms instantaneously, and allows a sample depth up to 4000 complex pairs. Pattern mode must
be pre-compiled, and allows pattern depths to 2 million samples.
Dual Digitizer (Oscilloscope), RI74105B
Provides 2 digitizer input ports, WF6 and WF7, with up to 80 MS/sec digitizing.
Dual Sine Wave Source, RI74203C
Provides 2 synchronized sine wave output ports, WF8 and WF9, with sine waves up to 90 MHz.
Frequency and amplitude may be independently set for each source. If frequency is set to be the same, the relative phase may then be set.
