Network Appliance that hosts Virtual Workstations (up to 4) and or a Guru Server purchased separately. This "thin" provisioned appliance allows workgroups autonomy and simplicity when working on Cassini simulators and or with a Guru server to act as a proxy or relay to Guru Servers located on the other side of the world.
Hardware is a Intel NUC with i5 (or similar) CPU, 4 GB RAM (upgradable to 32 GB), and 250 GB M.2 SSD, GigE Ethernet running xUbuntu or CentOS with VirtualBox OSE.
Access the VMs via Remote Desktop with Oracle Extension pack license (purchased separately) or VNC with the free open source extension pack. VMs are configured to start automatically when the system boots and save the state when it restarts or shuts down.
